Advocating for Compassion and Protection for Animals
India faces significant challenges with its large population of street animals, including neglect and mistreatment. The country also grapples with illegal wildlife trafficking, threatening biodiversity.
With the enforcement of varied animal welfare laws and hurdles like resource constraints and corruption, there is a pressing need for enhanced legal protection and compassionate initiatives. By advocating for stronger regulations and supporting animal welfare efforts, we should all work towards a more humane society for all living beings!

Stray Dog Welfare
Well-Being of every being!
During the challenging period of the Covid-19 lockdown in Kochi, BIF extended its support to a local NGO dedicated to the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs. The NGO's volunteers worked tirelessly to feed and vaccinate over 1000 dogs, ensuring their health and well-being amidst the Crisis.

The tribals, Kalandar community previously depended on 'dancing bears' for their livelihood. BIF helps uplift these communities by providing education and training, empowering them to pursue better and more sustainable income opportunities.
